  AIEEE 2012 Online and Offline Exam Dates Declared

Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the exam dates for AIEEE which will be conducted in April and May 2012. The paper pencil based test will be conducted on Sunday, April 29, 2012 and the online test will commence from Monday, May 7, 2012 to Saturday, May 26, 2012 and the dates are7th May, 12th May, 19th May and 26th May, 2012.
All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examinations is an entrance examination for taking admission into engineering/architecture bachelor’s degree courses across the country. Admissions into all the National Institute of Technology (NITs) as well as most of the state level institutes and private institutes take place through AIEEE 2012.
 
AIEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria:
  • The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2012 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE 2012 provisionally.
  • Candidates appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) in 2013 or passed in 2009 or before are not eligible to appear in AIEEE 2012.
How to Apply:
  1. The online submission of particulars may be made at AIEEE website http://www.aieee.nic.in.  The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form.
  2. On submission of details, a Confirmation page with Registration No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation page and paste photographs, put left hand thumb impression, sign in the space earmarked for the purpose and write down the Residential Address.
  3. The confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post to CBSE and payment can be made as follows:
    1. By credit/debit card, or
    2. Demand draft from any scheduled nationalized bank.
Candidates submitting applications online are required:
  • To retain a photocopy of Confirmation Page with Registration No. and
  • Copy of mode of remittance of Examination fee:
Note - In addition to Examinations Fee, Service/Processing Charges will have to be paid by the candidates.
 
AIEEE 2012 Paper Pattern:
AIEEE paper consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1 has three sections: -Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with equal weight for each subject. Each section consists of multiple choice objective-type questions each of which has four choices. Out of the four choices for a given question, only one choice is correct. Paper 1 has a negative-marking scheme wherein an incorrect answer is negatively marked with one fourth of the maximum marks allotted to the question.
Paper 2 has three sections: -Mathematics, Drawing, and Aptitude. Mathematics, and Drawing sections have multiple choice objective-type questions and the Aptitude section has drawing-based questions.
The duration of each paper is of three hours.
  • Physics & Chemistry: 150 objective type questions with equal weightage to Physics & Chemistry: - Total Marks 450
  • Mathematics: 75 objective type questions: - Total Marks 225
  • Aptitude Test Part I: 50 objective type questions: - Total Marks 150
  • Aptitude Test: Part II: - Two questions to test drawing aptitude: - Total Marks 75

JSS Medical College, is located in a sprawling 43 acre campus in Sri Shivarathreeshwara Nagara, Mysore City, which is about 140 Km from Bangalore. The city is famed for its educational institutions, salubrious climate and beautiful gardens. The college which was started in 1984 has been designed and equipped for dispensation of quality medical education. The institution is backed by highly qualified and experienced staff, well equipped laboratories, library, and modern teaching aids.
The graduate and post-graduate programs of the college are recognized by the Medical Council of India. The courses offered are also recognized by General Medical Council (UK), Sri Lanka Medical Council and WHO. The college has been recognized by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, UK, for the award of MRCOG.

The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka during 1995-1996.
After the formation of JSS University (Established under Section-3 of UGC Act) JSS Medical College has become a constituent college of the JSS University from the Academic year 2008-2009.
J.S.S. Medical College, Mysore, was started in 1984-85 and is imparting education in medical sciences (MBBS) course. It is recognized by the Medical Council of India and was affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore from 1995-1996. It has now become a constituent college of JSS University established under Section-3 of UGC Act from 28-05-2008. The students of this college are from all corners of India as well from abroad. The college is also recognized by The General Medical Council, Sri Lanka Medical Council and WHO. Post-graduate courses in various faculties, Ph.D. and Para Medical Courses have also been started the JSS Medical College since its inception in 1984 – is dedicated to serving society as a center of excellence with emphasis on socially meaningful medical education, research and health care. The college has emerged as a pioneer in the state of Karnataka by providing medical and health care programs through internationalization, innovation in academic and research studies. The college offers undergraduate course in medicine (M.B.B.S) and postgraduate degree (M.D/M.S) and diploma programmes in 18 medical disciplines. The sanctioned annual intake to the M.B.B.S programme is 150. The college of offering DNB in Urology and Radio-diagnosis also. The college is also conducting course for B.Sc., in Respiratory Care Technology and M.Sc., (Psycho Social Rehabilitation) The courses offered are a perfect blend of community oriented, problem based learning with high quality clinical reasoning. It is intended to provide M.Sc.,/ Ph.D., and M.D.,/ Ph.D., programmes in some subjects such as Physiology, Anatomy, etc., to encourage research in these basic subjects.
